High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes are produced in all standard sizes from 16 to 160 mm outside diameter, and are available in standard lengths of 50, 100, and 200 and up to 500meter coils, or 6 & 12 meter straight pipes depending on pipe dimensions and customer specifications.

All dimensions are within the IS: 4984 - 1987/1995 tolerance.

Drinking Water Supply

ARVIND & JAWAN HDPE Pipes are physiologically harmless and can, therefore be used for drinking water supply in towns and villages. They are at an advantage where long lengths have to be laid. Because of their flexibility and toughness, the pipes can be easily laid in rocky or hilly areas, through rivers, lakes and coastal area. The pipes are stable against most aggressive chemicals and corrosive soils and are unaffected by salt water. ARVIND & JAWAN HDPE pipes can be laid either in long continues lengths or in smaller pieces. These can be welded together with the easy butt-welding method. ARVIND & JAWAN HDPE pipes have a life span of approximately 50 years under normal conditions. It may be noted that HDPE pipes have been approved for carrying drinking water by the ministry of health, government of India.

Tube Wells

As compared with G.I. pipes, ARVIND HDPE pipes show better performance in tube well boring both shallow and deep in all respects. Through the use of these pipes, the suction performance of tube well pipes remains unchanged over a number of years.As suction pipes for hand pumps and as suction and delivery pipes in pump sets, ARVIND HDPE pipes are satisfactorily serviceable and long lasting.


ARVIND & JAWAN HDPE Pipes are flexible and can be laid on the ground because sunlight and whether do not have any detrimental effect on them. Heavy duty pipes can withstand water pressure up to 10kg/cm 2 . ARVIND & JAWAN HDPE Pipes are so tough that they stand up to the roughest use. They have therefore, been used extensively for irrigation in many parts of the state. Their inherent light weight characteristics makes them particularly suited for sprinkler irrigation systems.


Ordinarily, pipes are required for sewage and drainage; do not have to stand pressure higher than 2.5 atm. In view of this, thin walled ARVIND HDPE Pipes are most economical for this. Also their resistance to chemicals allow laying highly corrosive soils and in sea water.

Fuel Gas

ARVIND HDPE Pipes can be used for fuel gas supply, where their easy installation and low permeability to gases can be used to advantage.

Chemical Industry

In chemical industry, ARVIND HDPE Pipes have a number of applications. They are highly suitable.

  • For alkaline or acidic medium
  • In handling acids/alkalis/salts/lab drains/chemical fumes

In process lines for corrosive Chemicals. Above applications are made possible because HDPE has inherent chemical resistance and is completely inert to actions of various acids, alkalis, slurries and almost any solution from pH 0 to 14. Because of these properties, the pipes can effectively replace lead, glass, rubber, copper, stainless steel and other expensive materials.
